Let's Go

Go ahead. Be bold. Be different. Go rogue. Take a break away from number-driven vanilla-flavored design and try something new! I am interactive designer Tim Edwards and this is my Rogue Form. I've designed and developed this website to showcase my professional design work over the last 13 years and my more recent adventures in photography. Please take a look around and let me know what you think of the site!

Let's Go

With over 13 years of professional design experience and 5 years event and lifestyle photography, I bring a bold, creative and stylized approach. My extensive agency experience enables me to utilize my camera as an extension of my creative vision; to create and render daring and modern stylized images for all to enjoy. Let's Go

I have been very fortunate to work with some of the most brilliant graphic designers during my career. Through those experiences and collaboration, I have learned the fundamentals of good design and what makes amazing design last. By having an artistic foundation deeply rooted in those core design principles, I am confident my work will hit the mark for my clients. Check out my design work here.

Interact.

Let's Go

I started in Post-Production, authoring DVDs and designing Interactive Flash courses, I fell in love with animation and interactive design. My favorite aspect about this line of work is getting lost in these projects spending hours keyframing and creating the perfect rhythm. I've also worked with 3D which has instilled in me the importance of textures and lighting. Check out my interactive work here.

Hello there, curious traveler! My name is Tim Edwards and I'm glad you’re here. I've designed and built this site to showcase my professional work and post a bit about myself. Before getting too much into a biography, I’ll offer you a quick appetizer. We've only made it to the homepage, silly. There's plenty more on the about page... coming soon... Well ok... due to my enormously large ego I'm sure that this page will be lengthy and take some time to generate but will be entertaining none the less.

From a professional perspective, I have been called a unicorn. I'm one of those hybrid creative and logical types. I love being creative and am tech-savvy enough to build ideas into digital experiences and physical things. I also love my camera! I've been capturing events and people (with my camera you weirdo) for a few years now and you can find some of my work in the capture page.

Basically, I design things, make interactive stuff and I'm pretty good at taking pictures. A Full Stack Designer? I'm working toward that, but my current professional title is Sr. User Interface Designer. I do a little bit of everything to keep myself from being bored. Marketing, Print, Branding, Logos, Icons, User Interface Design, Website Design, Photography, Photo Manipulation, 3D design, Blah blah blah. I am a jack of all trades and master of the universe. I have a special sword that gives me these powers. Don't be jelly.

A quick blurb about my brand and the current design of the site: Why Rogue? I’ve always been different - from my hair to fashion to design, etc and tried to keep my expression edgy to reflect who I am. Some consider a rogue as a bad person or a thief, I see it as someone who is against the grain. Someone who likes to be different in a bold way. Why the asterisk logo? I like the asterisk as a symbol for what it signifies: something more than what is initially said or written. My work is more than just colors on a paper or pixels on the screen. It is very layered which is why I feel I've been so successful in my craft. The current build of the site was my rebellion against bootstrap. I've wanted to go away from a pre-built library and push myself to create a mobile-first design approach from the ground up. I hope you enjoy it and find it easy to navigate around!
